Pumpkin Drum

Have you ever opened your fridge to see what kind of music you could make that day or do you strickly think about what to make for dinner based on what is in stock and not overly wilted or mouldy? While most of us view food as something to fill our growling stomachs there are others who have other ideas about functionality and usefulness. There is one group called the Vegetable Orchestra who play music exclusively on vegetables: leek violins, pepper trumpets, eggplant clappers, and cucumberphones.

Please play with your food….something most of us were told not to do….so is this called vegetative sound?…are they vegging out?…..do they make a vegetable soup once done?…..if they aren’t good does the audience throw tomatoes at them?….splat splat splat….how come no one made music eating a crispy celery stick? Interesting sound but unusual and it may take getting use to…..

Well they do make soup with the additional bits but I’m hoping they don’t use the used veggies in the soup or the health department will shut them down. They share the veggie soup with the audience.

I give them two green thumbs up.
