My Name Day
I would like to give everyone a head’s up that my name day/onomastico is coming up: Diana of Andalò of Bologna feast day is on June 10. Mark it on your calendars. Some websites claim it is on June 8 or June 9 so if you prefer one of those three days over the others, just go right ahead and celebrate it on your preferred day.

I am going to have Indian food tonight to celebrate my name day. I have another friend with the same name so together we are called D Squared. Should be a good celebration!

November 5th (Czech Republic)
Bohemians honor the name Miriam as a Name Day on the 5th of November in Czech Republic.
Your friends need to plan the celebrations. Usually they need to be told that it is your Name Day because they may not be aware of it.
I think you only get a paid day off if you are working in the Vatican. We should lobby for change in the workplace to recognize the importance of the day.
